Dream Catch Me
There’s a place I go when I’m alone
Do anything I want, be anyone I wanna be
But it is us I see and I cannot believe I’m falling
That’s where I’m going, where are you going?
Hold it close, won’t let this go

“Wash” - Bon Iver
I had a dream sometime last week with someone (male) with dark blackish hair whose backside I always saw who I have apparently been with. One of us would keep leaving this log cabin/tent but would come back to find the other person had gone, for reasons I don’t know. I didn’t feel mad or angry or upset in the dream. That’s just what happened. (What had to happen?) It almost felt I was content with, accepting of the situation. But the last part of the dream, I was walking away but got caught looking back, seeing my footsteps in the snow leading back to the cabin and knew that’s where I needed to be, that I needed to head back. At that moment of realization as I was turning around, a song came through softly in the background at first but got louder, more audible as it continued: yeah-ee-yeah, yeah yeah [x2], everlasting love.
Everlasting love? That whole song was absolutely cheesy, especially with the tune which you should feel glad not to know. Cheesy. The dream itself felt like it was a scene out of a movie. There was no sound until that last part with the song. After waking, I immediately thought of him though. He’s a redhead. Inaccurate dream ;)
